The Journal of Applied Research for Business Instruction is a refereed publication of Delta Pi Epsilon, Inc., applying research to the improvement of instruction in all business disciplines. Delta Pi Epsilon recognizes its obligation to encourage growth in the effectiveness of the teaching methodologies of business educators. This publication is the primary refereed publication used by Delta Pi Epsilon to direct attention to the development and improvement of classroom instruction.

Each article in the series focuses on a particular aspect of business education and identifies specific suggestions for teachers to use to improve instruction. The content of articles is based on research, or experience supported by research, in business education that promotes the effectiveness of current practices or suggests new practices.

The editor and review board are willing to work with individuals who have good ideas but are not sure how to go about the task of putting them into a written format. Also, we are always seeking input on topics which would be helpful to business educators for the improvement of classroom instruction.

Any nonDPE member who authors/coauthors an article to be published in the Journal of Applied Research for Business Instruction must pay, prior to publication, a $100 publication fee.
