Established in 1977 "to provide for the advancement and extension of technical and scientific investigation, research, and experimentation in the field of study commonly known as business education . . . and to make grants and gifts to support and assist in such investigation, research, and experimentation."
Research Grant Awarded
Dr. Bridget O’Connor has been awarded a grant for $2,730 for research titled, “A Qualitative Investigation of Factors Affecting the Transfer of Learning from the University to the Workplace.”
Dr. Chien Yu, Dr. Jianxia Du, and Dr. Anthony Olinzock have been awarded a grant for $3,000 for research titled, “Enhancing Online Collaborative Learning.”
Dr. Frederick W. Polkinghorne and Dr. Barbara Hagler have been awarded a grant for $6,500 for research titled, “Definition and Description: Integration of Reading in Business Courses.”
